The symposium Porous Borders offers free admission for students!

It is our pleasure to remind you that the symposium Porous Borders, which will happen on October 12-14, 2017 in the former Federal Assembly in Prague in favor of Prague Quadrennial celebrating its 50th anniversary, is for free for all students on Saturday October 14 (with valid student card). Furthermore, students do not need to preregister themselves!

The Saturday morning lecture Producer&Director collaboration is aimed especially on DAMU or Arts management students. Duo Helen Edwards and Agniezska Blonska (UK/PL) has been working together over six months to experiment with the artist-producer model as it is understood in the UK nowadays. This relationship has enabled them to see benefits and challenges of different models of co-working between producers and artists.

Students can also attend Friday workshops Thinking Through Thresholds by Platform-Scenography (NL), Shifting Outlines by Jana Preková (CR) or Encounter 4 by Joost van Wijmen (NL). More details on workshop are at www.pq.cz/en/student-workshops. Please, be aware thatworkshops´ venue differs from symposium one, workshops take place at DAMU at Karlova 1, Prague 1! Workshop participants (students included) need to be registered by September 30th, 2017!
